Holland Tunnel - The Holland Tunnel is a highway tunnel under the Hudson River connecting the island of Manhattan with Jersey City, New Jersey on the mainland. The tunnel was originally known as the Hudson River Vehicular Tunnel or the Canal Street Tunnel and is one of two highway tunnels under the Hudson River (the Lincoln Tunnel is the other).
Channel Tunnel - The Channel Tunnel or Euro Tunnel, (French: le tunnel sous la Manche; popularly nicknamed the Chunnel in English, although this has been largely abandoned in favour of the Tunnel) is a 50-km-long (31 imperial miles) rail tunnel beneath the English Channel at the Straits of Dover, connecting Cheriton in Kent, the United Kingdom, and Coquelles near Calais in northern France. Tunnel Kids by Lawrence E. Taylor, Beneath the streets of the U.S.- Mexico border, children are coming of age.
